This is a great idea. I have another suggestion that's related. If you leave an e-mail address that's set up through your Internet service provider (ISP), that e-mail address would no longer work if you change your ISP. You never know--you could become unhappy with your ISP, or they could go out of business. If you set up a free e-mail address (through Yahoo, Excite.com, etc.) that you can access from anywhere, it will ensure that another genealogist can contact you. (Personally, I do not recommend Hotmail--you get about 40 spam e-mails a day, much of which is ugly stuff.) You have to remember to check it about once a week or so to keep it active, but it is a good way to keep a more permanent e-mail address.
