A new Farris website - Marjorie Wilser, Jim Pearce and I have been researching the Young Farris family. Jim has created a website and posted our research. We are excited that we recently obtained a picture of Young, c1880s. If you are interested in this family check out: jimsweb.org Young Farris and Mary "Polly" Dunbar married in 1831 in Orange county IN. They moved c1850 to Page/Taylor county IA, to Jackson county OR in 1860 and finally settled in Lake county CA c1863. Children were Elizabeth (Pace), Nathan, Nancy (Stockton), William, John, James, Samuel, Joseph, Sarah (Clayton), and Laura (Mitchell).
