I am having a really rough time finding any info on these people or their Ancestors! Any info on these folks, my cousins, would be much appreciated. 1.James Farris, b.3/27/1881 in Savannah Georgia. Died in Jacksonville,2/7/1935. He helped build and/or run the Jacksonville Water Works about 1917. 2.Ion Farris, Florida Legislature about 1906. 3.Lela Farris, wife of Farris Bryant, gov. of Fla. in @1960. I would also like to know Gov.(Cecil) Farris Bryant's namesake. Are there any relatives in the Duval County area or anywhere?
