Dean Shropshire will officiate. Services are under Griffin Funeral Home's direction. Mr. Farris, 53, died Tuesday, June 17, in Jal. He was born Aug. 19, 1949, in Seminole (TX). He married Margaret Cabrera on Aug. 21, 1971, in Hobbs. He is survived by his wife of the home; his mother, Virginia Farris of Hobbs; two daughters, Carly Weatherhold of Cheyenne, Wyo. and Kristin Farris of Hobbs; two sisters, Denise Farris of Albuquerque and Susan Pritchard of Hobbs; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Ed Farris, and a sister, Carol Lynn Farris.
