Can't remember if I posted this info. or not: I am searching for info. on Howell Farriss/Farris who is believed to by the father of my g-grandmother Laura Elizabeth Farriss Inglett, b. 1872, Sparta, Hancock Co., GA. I searched every Farris/Ferris of various spellings in GA. and this is the only family with a son Howell located in GA in 1850. Checked every James in the 1860 GA census index, looked them up, but did not find this same family in 1860 GA. Need to look up Rebecca Farris. According to records from Howell's wife, Elizabeth Farris, she and Howell divorced. Don't know when.
