Brannon Artie Ella Anna Brannon, 96, passed away March 11, 2003, in Malakoff where she resided for 59 years. She was born Nov. 21, 1906, in Thayer, Mo., to Nancy Ann McCoy and Henry French Farris. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ranson Brannon; one son and daughter-in-law, John Robert and Dianna Sessions Brannon; and one Daughter, Gracie Ann Asberry. She is survived by one son, Roy Elwyn Brannon, Malakoff; daughter-in-law, Doris Rose Brannon, Troup; Son-in-law, David Asberry, Harrison, Ark.; nine grandchildren, Janone Wood, Wills Point, Tamara Haynes, Flint, Debra Brannon, Troup, Sharon Willson, Lubbock, Robert Brannon, Texarkana, Linda Bradford, Corinth, Miss., Rebecca Asberry, Saginaw and Daniel Asberry, Allen; 15 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held March 15, 2003 at Parkview Baptist church, Malakoff, with Rev. Ron Huckabee officiating. Pallbearers were Terry Parnell, Robert Brannon, Scott Asberry, Daniel Asberry, Christopher Wood and Joshua Wood. Interment was at Sandy Creek Cemetery, Rockdale Located between Rockdale and Milano in Milan County.
