Miles & Charity had 8 children, 1 being Robert Miles Goforth (born October 1862 or 1863) -- their other children were: William, Paul, Hulda, James, Drury, John and Matilda. Charity had at least 3 children with Farris -- Jasper, Thomas & Joseph. and... James Williams married Jinny (Gincy, Jancy, Jincy) Bunch (born about 1822) on November 12, 1846. James & Jinny had several children, 1 being Emily Jane Williams (1st marriage to William Thurman -- June 15, 1866) born November 1848. then... Bob Miles Goforth married Emily Jane Williams Thurman sometime after the 1880 census -- 1 of their children, Partelia (Tellie) Belle Goforth Boyd was my g-grandmother. Other children of Bob & Emily include Russel, Charles, John and Rebecca (Dolly). All records I have found, indicate that Charity & Jinny were sisters, children of Paul & Nancy Bunch -- who were Melungeons.
