You certainly know more about the Wallaces than I do. I do know about Cornelius Faires, the son of Richard H. Faires, my direct ancestor, and the fact that Cornelius m. Sarah Wallace in LCA on 8/9/1823. However, I have her father as William Wallace. I do not have a source so I could be wrong. I do have a John Wallace m. Elizabeth Doyle Clark. The only child that I have is John Wesley Wallace, Jr., 3/31/1811 in SC. D. 2/1897 in Brenham, TX. John jr. m. Louisa Amanda Felder, d/o Daniel Felder and Rachel Young, sister to my ggg grandmother. Louisa was b. 1825 and d. 1897 in TX. In fact, all of this family moved to TX. For some reason, I don't have the matching Samuel Farrises that you mentioned.
