She was a member of Fincastle United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by husband, John M. Lindsay; parents, Verlin and Effie Farris; brothers, Verlin, Jr. and Leon Farris; and sister, Hortence Farris and two young sisters. Survivors: sisters, Loraine Farris, LaFollette, Edna and husband, W.M. Odom, Palatka, Fla., Wanda Jones, Marion, Ind.; sister in law, Wilma Farris, LaFollette. Funeral service 2 p.m. Sunday, March 30 at Fincastle United Methodist Church, Rev. Kevin Cole officiating. Interment in the Fincastle Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1-2 p.m. Sunday prior to the funeral service . Arrangements by Cross Funeral Home.
