Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Iverson-Siecke Funeral Home in Vermillion. Private graveside services will be in Bluff View Cemetery. Mrs. Farris was born May 13, 1950, in Vermillion, the daughter of Sterling and Shirley (Harriman) Leikvold. She attended St. Agnes Grade School and graduated from Vermillion High School. She married Raymond H. Farris on Dec. 27, 1973, in San Jose, Calif. She worked as a special operation at Gateway in Vermillion and North Sioux City. She was a beloved member of the community and brought joy and strength to those who loved her. She is survived by her husband, Raymond of Vermillion; two sons, Michael and Portland, Ore., and Troy of Vermillion; a stepdaughter, Kimberly Jensen of Yankton, S.D.; her mother, Shirley Leikvold of Vermillion; three sisters, Theresa Barnes of Castle Rock, Colo., Patricia Leikvold of Vermillion and Kathleen Leikvold of Sioux Falls, S.D.; two brothers, Jerold Leikvold of Boise, Idaho, and Daniel Leikvold of Spearfish, S.D.; and three grandchildren, Samone Farris, Thaya Jensen and Chaleb Jensen.
