She was born at Natural Steps, Ark., Feb. 19, 1923. She was the widow of Thomas J. Chandler. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. She enjoyed family, church and friends. She was predeceased in death by her father and mother, James L. and Edna Farris; two sisters, Nellie Tiffin and Elsie Hopkins. Mrs. Chandler is survived by two daughters, Rosalind Peterson of Little Rock, and Jane Farmer of Eads, Tenn.; one brother, Edward L. Farris, of Little Rock; four grandchildren, Pat Norman, Debbie Greenwell, Keith Norman, and Scott Farmer; two great-grandchildren, Nikki Norman, and Shayne Norman. A Service of Remembrance will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2003, at the Chapel of Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 West 12th Street, 661-9111, with Pastor Jeff Parks officiating. Interment will follow at Little Rock National Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., today, Oct. 21, 2003.
