For all those who are researching the Carolina lines. Check out this map that I found on York County, Pa. http://www.geocities.com/nadineholder/PaStl.jpg This is a map of early settlements in Pa. It shows York County Pa. right above Maryland with Delaware to the right. It also shows when each area was established. This makes more sense as far as Faris folks being born in York Co. Pa. as it seems to be right over the line from other early areas of settlements. This is a very interesting slant on some of the early research problems with Pa DE and the Carolinas.
