Farris NEW ALBANY -- George W. Farris, 90, passed away Friday evening at the Robert E. Lee Retirement Home in New Albany. He was a native of Liberty, KY and a retired truck driver for M&M Construction. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maggie Jane (Pendleton) Farris, and a son, James W. Farris. Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Martha Farris, who cared for him; sister, Minnie Bell Williams; half-sister, Myrtle Mae Manuel; grandson, James A. Farris; and great-grandsons, Bret and Jon Farris. Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. Sunday at the Market Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, where funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday. Burial will be in Mt. Tabor Cemetery in New Albany.
