I have been subscribed for a while and have monitored this site. Our family named Farris were all from South Alabama. My maternal grandfather was Orbie Farris. His sibling's names were Willie, Orbie, Lillie, Mattie Pearl, Annie Ruth, Clyde May, Cecil, and Gilbert. All were born and raised in and around Elba Alabama. They were all descendants of William Newton Farris and Addie Archer (Farris). If any of these are familiar with these people I would appreciate any leads on their history. Lynn
