Born in Kansas City in 1920 she moved to Florida in 1954. Mrs. Farris was a buyer for Robinson's and J.C. Penney department stores. She was a member of Transfiguration Catholic Church and its Ladies Guild in St. Petersburg. She was a volunteer at St. Petersburg General Hospital for many years. Preceded in death by her husband, Glen D. Farris. Survivors include two sons, Kit M. of Tampa and John E. of Fort Jackson, SC; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
