After stumbling onto some new information, I will resubmit my query- to IDENTIFY THE PARENTS OF W. W. FARRIS born in VA about 1809. In the 1850 Louisiana Census, Sabine County, he is listed with his wife Nancy, 43; daughter Mary Jane, 13; and son J. H., 12 all born in Virginia. By 1860 he is listed in the Tennessee Census, Obion County, with his wife Nancy, and Mary Jane (a widow) is also living in the household with her 3 children. Mary Jane is my gggrandmother on my father's side. Does anyone have any clues as to who are the parents of W. W. Farris and any information about Nancy's maiden name? Thanks so much for any help.
