I found in a manuscript written by Thomas Faris, a copy of which can be found in the Scottsburg, Indiana, public library. Recorded in this manuscript is Thomas's brother Dudley was born on 9/23/1778 (probably in Pittsylvania, Virginia), Dudley married Peggy Douglas on 03/07/1804 (probably in Madison county Kentucky) Their mother and father was Michael Faris and Phoebe Dudley.
