My Farris lineage may connect??? Dorothy Edmiston/Edmonson m Thomas McSpadden. Their dau Sarah McSpadden m Gideon Farris Washington Co, VA. Gideon s/o William & Deborah Farris. There was a William Farris of the Isom Farris line of York Co, SC, but dates different than my William. It is believed some of those in early (1770s) Washington Co, VA were from Augusta Co, & neighboring Rockbridge Co, VA. I'd like to hear discussion on those who were in Washington Co, VA that divided into other Co's where their land was located. Most of these were related to my lineage, although maybe through other allied families.
