Jones, Marion Aug. 23, 1931 -- Jan. 24, 2004 Wanda J. Jones, 72, died at 6:15 a.m. Saturday in Wesleyan Health Care Center. She was born in LaFollette, Tenn., to the late Verlin and Effie (Brantley) Farris and had been a resident of Marion since 1956. She married Kermit C. "Casey" Jones on June 2, 1951. He died April 29, 2000. Mrs. Jones was a homemaker. She enjoyed and was very proud of her grandchildren. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Marion. Survivors include daughter, Jena (Ray) Adrianson, Greenwood; son, David Jones, Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Jacob Adrianson, Greenwood, Jessica and Lauren Jones, both of Marion; and sisters, Loraine Farris, LaFollette, Tenn., and Edna Odom, Palatka, Fla. Services are at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., with Pastor Tom Richards officiating. Burial is in Gardens of Memory cemetery, Huntington County. Visitation is from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
