LINDA GADDIS M. Linda Gaddis, born in Long Beach, California, November 7, 1941; passed away at Skagit Valley Hospital, November 1, 2003 from complications attributable to cancer. She is survived by her father, J.C. Farris, Sr. of Pomona, California; her two sisters: Dee Griffin of 29 Palms, California and Marla Davis of Apple Valley, California; her brother, J.C. Farris, Jr. of Las Vegas, Nevada; two daughters: Anne Higgins of Dayton, Washington and Mary Frances MacLachlan of Mount Vernon, Washington; five grandchildren: Breanne, Timothy, Michael, Alicia and Lacey; two great-grandchildren: Justin and Kaylee; and many extended family members and friends. She was very active at St. Paul's Episcopal Church of Mount Vernon, Washington where she worked as the church secretary, lived to help others and loved all the parishioners, staff and people that she came into contact with. Memorial services will be Wednesday, November 5, 2003, 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Mount Vernon. In lieu of flowers, Linda Gaddis has requested that memorial contributions be made to the St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Repairs/Improvement Fund.
