    3. Can anyone outline the family of this William Farris? I am typing it as it was written, complete with misspelled words. This is transcribed from a typed version of the will found on microfilm. Will of William Farris State of South Carolina South Carolina York District In the name of God Amen I William Farris of the State and District aforesaid Being of sound mind and disposing memory do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament. Item 1 I leave and bequeath unto my beloved wife Susan Farris her maintainance such as is suitable for her helth and ? dureing her natrel life. Item 2 I leave and bequeth to my Son William I. Farris the plantation I purchased from Andrew Baxter which will be included in a state grant with the plans I now Love on with all my notes and book ? also all the stock includes horses cows hoggs and stock of every discription also includes my crop and farmin utensels with the waggon and all the aparates their unto belongon. Item 3 I leave and bequeath unto my four daughters Margarett Jane Marry & Nancy all my hosehold kitchen furniture of every description to be equally devided betwen them or as it may best suit to devide it. Item 4 If thier should be any other property belonging to me not named I leave and bequeath it to my son Wm I Farris. Item 5 I nominate and appoint my son William I Farris my sole Executer to Execute and Despose of my affeaks as above directed.     3. Wanda, I can't help you on this, but have a recommendation. If you got this from one of the transcribed WPA wills which were copied from the original, you may be able to find out much more by ordering the full probate record from the State Archives. The will should have a Box & package # and they can go the the microfilm and send you all the accountings, payments, debts, etc. I have found a lot of good information such as marriages for children, relationships for grandchildren when an adult child has died and their portion goes to that child's heirs. I try to get the word out about this, as I found a lost ancestor named in the accounting. There is even more info. in Administrations of an intestate probate. Those are not listed in the Will Books.
