Farris died Dec. 17, 2003, at age 79. Mr. Farris was born Nov. 27, 1924, in Yuba City, Calif. He moved to Portland in 1936 and graduated from Grant High School and the University of Portland. During World War II, he served in the Air Force and was stationed in India and Burma. He was an accountant for Coast to Coast. In 1946, he married Elsie Peterson. Survivors include his wife; daughters, Linda Farris and Barbara Pool; sister, Gloria Earnhardt-Hughes; brother, Kenneth; and two grandchildren. Private service. Remembrances to Coronary Care Unit, Providence Portland Medical Foundation. Arrangements by Oregon Cremation.
