Services for Nellie Farris, 91, of Murray will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home here with John Dale officiating. Burial will be in Murray City Cemetery. She died at 9:20 p.m. Thursday at her home. Mrs. Farris was a native of Calloway County. She and her late husband, Wilburn Lee Farris, formerly operated the Whitehouse Grocery on West Main Street in Murray. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Murray. Surviving are two sisters, Marelle Andrus of Murray and Ann S. Goodwin of Ruidoso, N.M.; three brothers, Jake Stiles and Bill Stiles, both of Tyler, Texas, and L.C. Stiles of Roswell, N.M.; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Barbara Sue Farris; and one brother. Her parents were Luther and Amy Taylor Stiles. Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
