FARRIS BLOOM died at 9:15 p.m. Jan. 30, 2004, at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. She was born to Arthur A. and Annie Eunson Farris, who preceded her in death. She married Joseph E. Bloom, who died Dec. 11, 1998. Mrs. Bloom was a homemaker and had worked at Ex-Cell-O, Lima. Survivors include four sons, Joe Bloom Jr. of Libertyville, Ill., Gary (Carol) Bloom of Houston, Rick (Ines) Bloom of Somerdale, N.J., and Dennis (Tedi) Bloom of Brecksville; five grandchildren, Valerie, Ana Maria, Tyler, Kent and Derek; two sisters, Wanda Fellows of Florida and Betty Schiffer of Lima; a half brother, Robert (Jessie) Neeson of Fort Myers, Fla.; and a half sister, Ailsa (Jerry) Thompson of Marion. She was preceded in death by three sisters and a half sister. Services were held Tuesday at Schindewolf-Stevens-Stout Funeral Home, Kenton. Burial was in Grove Cemetery, Kenton. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
