Mrs. Farris was born Feb. 27, 1909, in Bochita, Okla. She was a homemaker and member of First United Methodist Church, Mary-Martha Sunday School Class and Order of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Otto Farris, in 1979. Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Gwen and Lary McKeel of Las Vegas and Jan Michie of Argyle, Texas; two sons and daughters-in-law, Guy and Anne Farris and Mike and Donna Farris of DeKalb; one brother, Orville Gay of Tucson, Ariz.; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 3 p.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Tony Hoefner officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery under direction of Bates-Rolf Funeral Home.
