She was born Nov. 18, 1922 in Buffalo, N.Y. Louise moved to Las Vegas in 1987 to join her son. She opened the way for many families to migrate from Cleveland and Buffalo, N.Y. Louise's house was always open, where she welcomed everyone with her ethnic cooking and generous personality. Her nickname was "Casino Louise" and will be remembered and missed by all. Louise was a retired owner/operator in retail sales. Louise is survived by her daughters, Jacqulin Oneil and Fay Farris, both of Las Vegas; her sons, David Farris of Henderson, Michael Farris and James Farris, both of Cleveland; her sisters, Ann Peters and Alvera Shiekh, both of Cleveland; her brother, Thomas Anthony of Cleveland; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Friday, Jan. 16, with services following, both at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Family requests donations be made to St. Michaels ! Orthodox Church Building Fund, 5719 E. Judson Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89156, in lieu of flowers. Arrangements handled by Palm Mortuary-Eastern.
