Farris Died: Friday, December 05, 2003 Charlotte A. Adolph Farris, 81, Corydon, died Friday, Dec. 5, 2003, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon. Born Aug. 17, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Sherley and Daisy Catherine Nye Adolph. She retired from the old Indiana Army Ammunition Co. in Charlestown and was a member of the United Methodist faith. Survivors include two sons, Wayne Sampson of Milltown and James R. Sampson of Depauw; two daughters, Charlotte Davis of New Salisbury and Tina C. Wedding of Depauw; a brother, George W. Adolph; five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral: Monday, Dec. 8, at Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon. Officiant: Pastor Glenda Riggs. Organist: Dianne Wininger. Pallbearers: Robert Thompson, Ernest Brown, Dean Heintz, Pat Posante, Bryant Billharz and Russell Davis.
