Born April 24, 1951 in Max Meadows, Va. he is the son of Faye Jean McPeak Farris Williams and the late Everett Mason Farris. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a former employee of Pulaski Furniture Company with 5 years of service. Surviving include: his wife, Linda Marie Farris, Pulaski; daughter, Erika Lynn Farris, Pulaski; step-children, Mona Nunn, Pulaski and Robbie Fewell, Pulaski; two grandchildren and three step-grandchildren; mother and step-father, Faye Jean and David Frank Williams, Salem; sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Jerry Chambers, Draper; and brother, Ralph Farris, Loneash. A memorial funeral service will be conducted Monday at 7 p.m. at the Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski with Rev. Martha Yeomans officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski is handling the arrangements.
