FARRIS, 69, of Memphis, retired from the Air Force and postal worker, died Monday at Methodist Healthcare-University Hospital. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Mount Vernon Baptist Church with burial in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. M. J. Edwards & Sons Funeral Home Whitehaven Chapel has charge. Mr. Farris, the husband of Jeredia Farris, also leaves a daughter, Lisa Duncan of Winston-Salem, N.C.; a stepdaughter, Sandra Hill of Memphis; two sisters, Johnnie Heyliger of Reno, Nev., and Mary Richardson of Detroit; three brothers, James Farris of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Sidney Farris and Reginald Farris, both of Detroit, and a grandchild.
