Mrs. Farris, 94, died Saturday (Oct. 4, 2003) at Kingston of Perrysburg. An avid golfer in Bowling Green and Arizona, Mrs. Farris was a former member of Bowling Green Country Club and Eastern Star, and was a Red Cross and Wood County Hospital volunteer. She was a 1927 graduate of Jackson High School. Mrs. Farris lived in Bowling Green until 1976 when she moved to Arizona, returning to Wood County four years ago. Born Feb. 10, 1909 in Kansas, Ohio to Albert and Mary Radcliff, she married Willard Rinebold in 1929. He died in 1970. She married James Farris in 1976, and he died in 1997. She also was preceded in death by three brothers, Willard "Bill" Donald and Max; and two sisters, Wilda Radcliff and Margurite Miller. Surviving are a daughter, Mary Jo Sears, Bowling Green; a sister, Elsie Strausbaugh, Tiffin; a brother, Dale Radcliff, Fostoria; two granddaughters, Ami Noble, Bowling Green, and Diane Gibson, Maumee; and four great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Haskins Elementary School, c/o Otsego Schools, Box 290, Tontogany, Ohio 43565; or the Arthritis Society in Toledo, 309 N. Reynolds Road, Toledo, Ohio 43615.
