The first ones that I am aware of are Elizabeth and Jerusha, born in Barren County, KY in 1816, daughters of George Washington and Nancy Shelton Farris, then Andrew Johnson Farris and Ulyssyes Grant Farris born in Wayne County, IL sons on Samuel Shelton Farris, born in 1869, (GWF and NSF were parents if Samuel also). A generation was skipped. My mother aborted twins in 1937; another generation was skipped. My sister's daughter had twins and one of my brother's sons had twins also.
