My Gr Grandfather was James Robinson Moore, Nancy Catherine's brother. He always referred to her as Catherine, and that was the name on the back of her photographs. He died in 1908, soon after his wife died, and I guess not too much corresponding was done after that. James T. Farris and Nancy Catherine's first child was Riley T., then Thadeus Claude, Laura Ann ( Anna Laura) Edward A., Ida Mae, and Lillian. I have tintypes of Laura Ann age 5-6, Edward at 9, Riley at 14 and about 20, and Lillian at about 3. I will get copies of these for you-I have had copies made of James T. in his Civil War uniform, and of Nancy Catherine. At one time there must have been lots of letters, but there were several house fires over the years, and I know the loss of some trunks occurred, as they were sadly lamented, so the letters were probably in them. It is a wonder the tintype! s survived, as it has taken me years to find out who they were. Thank heavens for the internet!
