She was a native of Cleveland County, born June 21, 1930, daughter of the late Darvin G. Wilkie and Annie Belle Nix Wilkie. FUNERAL: 2 p.m. Saturday, Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, Gastonia INTERMENT: Gaston Memorial Park VISITATION: 6-8 tonight at the funeral home Mrs. Farris was a member of Loray Baptist Church of Gastonia. SURVIVORS: Daughters and sonsin-law, Judy and Jim McDede of Williamsburg, Va., and Denise and Steven Briggs of Tampa, Fla.; grandchildren and spouses, Julie and Mike Thomas of Gastonia, Matt Kuykendall, Stephanie McDede and Brooke McDede, all of Williamsburg, Va.; great-grandchildren, Joshua Duncan of Lowell, Courtney Kuykendall of Michigan, and Matthew and Logan Thomas of Gastonia PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: In addition to her parents, husband, Harry Milton Farris.
