Folks....Pete is NOT a subscriber of our list. He is literally going to every surname board (the posts filter through to our list) and is posting his complaint there. He has also been sending ME individual e-mails because I post MANY obits to all of my surname lists. I have contacted Rootsweb about this but have not received a reply yet. I can find NO policy that states the obits must be posted to the Obits board rather than surname boards. I suspect he may be the administrator of the obits board and could be drumming up posts for that board. At any rate, rest assured unless I receive a message from Rootsweb to the contrary, I WILL continue posting the obits as they are helpful to researchers. I believe they are viewed more when posted to the surname boards where they are more relevant!
