She was preceded in death by her husband Arnold Farris and her first husband, Burnette Spradlin, father of her eight children, daughter, Shirley Kight and a son, Dale Spradlin, three brothers, Earnest King, Garret King and James King, one sister, Gladys Brown, grandson, Wayne Shonkwiler. She is survived by three daughters, Joyce Hickman and husband, Willis, whom she lived with, Patty Jo (Keith) Shonkwiler of Sciotoville, Oh and Glenda (Dan) Van Fossen, of Kettering, Oh., three sons, Bobby Lee (Gwen) Spradlin of Waverly, Oh, Kenny (Shirley) Spradlin of Frankfort, Oh, and Douglas Spradlin of Beaver, Oh., 24 grandchildren, 59 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, six sisters; Charlene McGinnis of Sciotoville, Juanita Biggam of Cleveland, Nancy Malony of South Webster, Oh, Fern McQuithy of Portsmouth, Oh, Sharon Burns of Arizona and Gay! le Cyrus of Portsmouth, Oh., brother, Earl King of Portsmouth, son-in-law, Homer Kight of Lucasville, Oh and daughter-in-law, Sandy Spradlin, of Minford, Oh. She attended Faith Christian Fellowship Church in Beavercreek. Funeral service 11 AM Wednesday, March 22, 2006 at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME - BELMONT CHAPEL, 648 Watervliet Ave. Pastor Randy Green officiating. Interment at Woodland Cemetery. Friends may call 5 -8 PM today, at the funeral home and 10 - 11 AM Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Women's Wellness, of Kettering Medical Center or Hospice of Dayton, in memory of Mary Ruth.
