John F.L. Farris is son of William and Glathia Farris of Coffee and Franklin co TN, grandson of Absolum Farris of SC, NC. The Faris in Jackson co AL are either from George and Margaret Farris or from the Warren co TN Farris family who desc several generations from James Farris and Vaughn lady of VA.
