Burial will follow at Burns Cemetery in Trenton, Texas. Pallbearers will be Steve Stanley, Mark Stanley, Jeffery Stanley, Randy Stanley, Eric Stanley and Jimmy Lynn Stanley. Mrs. Farris passed away August 13, 2006 at Wilburton, Oklahoma. Coy was born June 10, 1919 in Fannin County to the late Jim and Bertha (Rushing) McHone. She married Alvin Lee Stanley in 1934 and they had eight children. She was later married to Atchilee (Joe) R. Farris. They lived most of their married life in Sherman, Texas. She was a member of the Merriman Hills Baptist Church. Coy Lea lived a life to be proud of. She was the kindest and sweetest soul. She always had open arms to anyone that entered her home with home cooked meals and heavenly desserts ready for all to enjoy. Children were always so special to her and she loved them all. She touched the lives of all who knew her and gave them all the most beautiful gift of love, simply by being the most wonderful mother, granny, great-granny, wife and friend that she could possibly be. Heaven is rejoicing because they have just received a beautiful angel. Everything good in us comes from you, Mom, we couldn’t have picked a better mother, Thank You. Coy Lea is survived by her eight children and their spouses, Bobby and Judy Stanley of Sherman, Frank and Dorothy Stanley of Bonham, Billy Stanley and Robbie Batchelor of Sherman, Jimmy and Kathy Stanley of Bonham, Bertha White of Amarillo, Mary and John Ballard of Amarillo, Jerry Stanley of Van Alstyne, Shirley and Tony Quinn of Wilburton, Okla., 29 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren and many great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; stepmother, Willie Ellen (Bill) McHone; sister, Audrey Helen Nordel; one nephew; and her husband, Atchilee (Joe) Farris. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 16, 2006 from 6-8 p.m. at Waldo Funeral Home. The register book can be signed online at waldofuneralhome.com. There will be a luncheon before the service on Thursday at 800 S. Andrews St., for anyone wanting to drop-off food.
