He was 71. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, May 27, at New Haven Baptist Church Cemetery with the Revs. Mike Medley and Mike Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the New Haven Church Cemetery in Elba. The Farris family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to your local Humane Society. Survivors include his wife of 46 years and mother of their four children, Grace Farris of Ozark; son, Eddie Farris (Lynn) of Ozark; daughter, Debbie Roberts (Keith) of New Brockton; daughter, Teresa Carr (Sam) of Ozark; daughter, Amy Odom (Matthew) of Edmond, Okla.; sister, Marie McCurley of Pensacola, Fla.; brother, Connie Farris; brother, Dal Farris of Elba; brother, Wayne Farris of Elba; granddaughter, Jeri Lynn Farris of Enterprise; granddaughter, Amanda Freeman of Ozark; grandson, Daniel Freeman of Ozark; grandson, Zachary Roberts of New Brockton; granddaughter, Katy Grace Roberts of Ozark; granddaughter, Kaylyn Ray Roberts of Ozark; grandson, Jackson Odom of Edmond; granddaughter, Abigail Odom of Edmond.
