Osborne and Chaplain Laura Potter Parsons officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Mrs. Proctor died June 18, 2006, in Longview. She was born Sept. 15, 1919, in Indianapolis, Ind., to Harry Farris and Letitia Reed Farris. She moved to Gilmer in 1953 and was a homemaker and member of Upshur County Historical Museum and First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by husband, W.L. Proctor, and sister, Carol Yurichak. Survivors include sons, George Wyatt, Arlington, Harry "Hap" Proctor, Ocala, Fla., Tom Proctor, Louisville, Ky.; daughters, Mari Jo Holloway, Gilmer, Barbara Bomar, Flower Mound; sister, Betty Connor, Streetsboro, Ohio; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Sam Robinson, Will Proctor, Luke Bomar, Ben Proctor, John Proctor and Steve Teddy. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
