Su Debree. A committal service will take place at a later date in Ainsworth, Neb. She died Jan. 30, 2006, at Amie Holt Care Center in Buffalo. Born Dec. 8, 1911, in Herman, Minn., she was the daughter of Della and Edward Klink; and, as a young girl, moved with her family to Nebraska, where she attended school. In 1926, she married Marvin James Farris in Nebraska. They made their home in the Sand Hills of Nebraska and owned a cattle ranch. In 1934, they moved to Wood, S.D., where they owned and operated a farm. The family moved to Bassett, Neb., in 1940; and then to Ainsworth. She worked at Omaha Cold Storage. After moving east of Long Pine, Neb., where they had a ranch, they sold it in 1949 and moved into town. She worked at the Upstill Hotel. Her husband then took a job with Peter Kiewit and the couple lived in various places following construction. In 1959, they moved to Gillette to be near their son and his family; and, later, moved to Osage. In 1964, they moved to Edgerton, where she had a furniture-upholstering business and did craftwork. Her husband preceded her in death in July 1968, after 42 years of marriage. She remained in Edgerton until 2004, when she became a resident of Amie Holt Care Center. A member of Midwest Community Methodist Church and Midwest Senior Center, she loved spending time with her son and his family and enjoyed crafts of all types. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Smokey and Shirley Farris of Buffalo; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a son, three sisters, three brothers and a granddaughter. Memorials may be made to Amie Holt Care Center, Midwest Senior Center, or a charity of the donor's choice, in care of Adams Funeral Home, 351 N. Adams Ave., Buffalo, WY 82834.
