Hi Ruth, Do you know of a connection? I don't. A quick search on-line shows numerous websites listing Ian Esom Faris' birth and death dates in the 1600's. He certainly had a very unusual name. It would be too great a leap to connect my Faris lines to someone who born almost a century before the earliest of mine who is known.
