Charlie Brown officiating. Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Mrs. Smith died Monday, April 18, 2005, at her residence. She was born Dec. 20, 1938, in Morgan County to E.H. Nethery and Bertha Mae Wilburn Nethery. She attended West End Methodist Church. Survivors include Beckem Smith of Danville; two daughters, Debbie Richards of Warrior and Becky Logan of Birmingham; three brothers, R.D. Nethery and Hilrey Nethery, both of Hartselle, and William Nethery of Danville; one sister, Margaret Higginbotham of Hartselle; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Travis Nethery, Raymond Richards III, Rickey Turrentine, Bobby Nethery, James Paul Hogan and LaRay Logan.
