Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18, 2005, at Morrison Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 19, 2005, at Morrison Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Cherokee Memorial Park. Dewayne Goss and Wanda Keele will officiate. Mr. Farris was a native of Colbert County, Ala. He was preceded in death by his parents, Annie Farris and Odie Farris; former wife, Kathleen Farris; and his sisters, Betty Joe Richardson and Ida Dooley. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Keller Farris; his sons, Tommy Farris Jr. and Kenneth Keller; his daughters, Kathy Corsbie, Vicky Holt and Kristy Turberville; his brothers, Jimmy Farris and Gean Farris; sisters, Lillian Cosby and Clara West; and a host of grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Larry Cosby, Timothy Winsted, Ray Stanfield, Lee Cosby, Jimmy Hooper and Wayne Smith. Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee, is directing.
