The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church, Kannapolis, with Pastor P.C. Holland Jr. officiating. Interment will be at Rutherford Memorial Cemetery, Concord. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at the church. Mr. Farris was born July 17, 1961, in Cabarrus County, the son of William A. Farris Sr. and the late Estelle Neal Farris. He is also preceded in death by Debra Ann Farris. Survivors are his father, William A. Farris Sr. (Queen) of the home; sisters, Gloria Farris of Salisbury, Lisa Lyons (Ricky), Sonya Wilson, Tommie Ann Jordan and Tracy Jordan, all of Kannapolis; brothers, Jessie Farris of Kannapolis, Robert Neal Sr. (Marsha), David Farris, all of Concord, William Farris Jr. and Michael Blakeney (Rita), all of Kannapolis, Timothy Jordan (Sylvia) of Columbia, S.C., and Tony Leak and wife o! f High Point; special nephews, Ravon Farris and Carlos Farris; and a host of nieces and nephews. Clark Funeral Home is serving the family of Mr. Farris.
