I am descended from Michael Farris and his father, Thomas Farris, Sr. They migrated from Pittsylvania Co VA to Lincoln Co KY then to Madison Co KY when it was formed. Michael's daughter, Cloe Farris Campbell is my ancestress. I am trying to establish Michael and Thomas' patriotic service in the American Revolution. I currently have a supplemental application for each at DAR. They are challenging a few items at the moment, but I hope to have them resolved soon. I would like to hear from any other descendants of these two men.
