Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Shelton with the Rev. Tom Mackey officiating. Burial will be at Shelton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Monday at the church. Apfel Funeral Home in Grand Island is in charge of arrangements. She was born June 1, 1948, in Kearney to Ernest and Alvera (Stelk) Ohlman. Survivors include her daughter, Kristin Daniel of Omaha; her mother of Wood River; and brothers, Daniel Ohlman and Bud Ohlman, both of Shelton, and David Ohlman of Gibbon. Additional survivors include her son-in-law, Jason Daniel of Omaha; sisters-in-law, Teresa Ohlman and Lisa Ohlman, both of Shelton, and Pam Ohlman of Gibbon; one uncle; and several aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. She grew up on the family farm and received her education at Shelton Public Schools. She graduated in 1966. After graduation, she attended Hastings College. She went on to earn her travel agent certificate and worked as a travel agent up until her retirement in 2001. Following her retirement, she returned to the Shelton area. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Crete. She was an avid sports fan and enjoyed animals, especially her beloved cat, Ringo. She was preceded in death by her father, her grandparents and a nephew, Brad Ohlman. Memorials are suggested to St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
