She was born March 21, 1937, in Columbus, Ohio to Herman Joseph Farris and Hazel Irene (Joslin) Farris. She retired from the Nippert Company in 1999 and was a member of the Old Stone Presbyterian Church, where she had served as a deacon. She also was a member of the Professional Secretaries International who enjoyed playing euchre on Monday's, reading, old movies, and her cat Smokey. She is survived by a brother, Wayne Farris of Columbus; sister, Nann Daley of Albany, New York; nieces, Eileen and Allison Daley. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 29th from 1 p.m. until time of funeral services at 3 p.m. at the RODMAN NEEPER FUNERAL HOME, 1510 W. William St., Delaware. Revs. Charlotte O'Neal and Linda Meredith will officiate the 3 p.m. service. Contributions may be made to the Delaware County Humane Society, 4920 SR 37E, Delaware, Ohio 43015.
