    2. As you can see from the three obits I just submitted my family is dwindling rapidly. I am now the oldest member still living. So maybe I better get back to searching for my family. I know there is some where for these obits to go but I don't know where so forgive me list for putting them here but I am hoping that Wanda will know where they need to go and can help me on that part. My search is for Thomas Farris who died in Lawrence County Mississippi in 1843, he had at least thirteen children. The older Children were born in South Carolina prior to 1800 at least three children were born in Kentucky between 1800 and 1808 and the rest born in Mississippi. At his death his wife and two minor children had the courts set aside a years finances for her upkeep. The wife nor the minor children were named. He had a daughter Nancy that married Fred Pollard a son John married Arena Fulgar (spelling may be off ) a son Daniel a son Samuel married Orphia Smith a son William a son Squire married a Rutland These children left Mississippi and went to Texas between 1832 and 1834 by 1837 Squire and Samuel were back in Lawrence Co Mississippi. one of the sons left Texas and lived in Sugartown, Louisiana. another son Albert married Annie Ott and he eventually landed in Calcasui Parish La. I think Samuel may have landed in St Helena Parish La and he is my line. I can't find him for sure. This man Thomas Farris should have descendant in the thousands yet I can find no information on this family except Stan Farris, who descends from William (I think) , Farnell Vaughn who descends from Albert and myself. and I descend from Samuel.
