Mausa Rownd Farris Farris, Mausa Rownd Mausa Rownd Farris, 82, of Walker, passed away on Friday, May 11, 2007, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, Baton Rouge. She was a member of Walker Baptist Church and was involved in many ministries, including teaching Sunday school and working with the Walker Baptist Food Pantry. She also served her Lord and community with the Life Church during relief of Hurricane Katrina. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and was known as a friend to all. She will be dearly missed by each person whose life she touched. Visitation at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, on Tuesday, May 15, from 9 a.m. until service at 11 a.m., officiated by the Rev. Ray McCon and the Rev. Randy Powell. Burial in Beech Ridge Cemetery, Denham Springs. She is survived by her two daughters, Judy Smith and Casey Collier; two sons, Mark and Joel Farris; grandchildren and their spouses, Boyd and Lanae Collier, Lee and Channon Collier, and Joe Guy Collier; great-grandchildren, Matthew, Haley, Emileigh and Sara Collier; three sisters, Alzada Raines, Cathy Saurage and Ida Cogley; and a brother, Robert Rownd. She was preceded in death by her husband, Isiah Joel Farris; parents, James and Manie Stone Rownd; sister, Annie Guercio; and brother, Ellis Rownd. Pallbearers will be Roland Hoover, Carlton Ellis, Ray Smith and Boyd, Lee and Joe Guy Collier. Honorary pallbearers are class members of Golden Circle Sunday School.
