    3. Hi. You might inquire at the Wisconsin State Historical Society in Madison, Wisconsin. The society has some early records and recollections of this area, particularly in the Draper Reports. In fact, if you have a big genealogical library in your area, you might find a printed version of Draper there. Good luck, Trueman Farris. jfarris@execpc.com ----- Original Message ----- From: <gc-gateway@rootsweb.com> To: <FARRIS-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, August 12, 2007 2:01 PM Subject: [FARRIS] moccassin gap, aug 26th 1791 > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Author: pinkfishie18 > Surnames: > Classification: queries > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.farris/2776/mb.ashx > > Message Board Post: > > looking for what exactly happened at moccassin gap, russell co, virgina. > charlotte mary farris(vaughn), mary livingston(farris) were killed on the > same day and time. i found one account that they were attacked by indians > but it's really kind of confusing the way the person wrote it. if any one > has any infor that would be great! > > charlotte mary vaughn m elisha farris 1760abt > > Important Note: > The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
